Why we don't take phone calls

Our support is handled via the Contact Us page and emails. Here are the key reasons we came to this approach:

  1. Majority of the resolutions are accompanied by links, pictures, videos and research. It's most effective to exchange such information via email.
  2. You can get a busy signal, be placed on hold, or have no one pick up at any particular moment. Phone calls do not scale, even for a bank!
  3. Our customers are geographically spread out in different time zones, including a sizable international contingent. It would require a 24x7 call center in order to satisfy all time zones in real time.
  4. Staffing a call center would increase cost, which goes against our goal to keep prices as low as possible. 
  5. Spam emails are easy to filter out. Spam calls are not.

Our support model incorporates the following principles:

  1. Your questions will be answered by a real person, not a chat bot.
  2. We strive to empower the customer. There are guides, tips, and technical information embedded across the website. Please take advantage!
