Adjustable Brake Proportioning Valve for Toyota Brake Lines - Fits FJ40

Plug and play brake proportioning valve solution. Fits Toyota brake lines without any modification to the lines. Ports are 10mm X 1.0 female inverted flare.

Includes stainless steel hardware to install in the stock location on 9/75-7/80 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ40 / FJ55 with front disc brakes.

Replace your rusted original valve with this precision aluminum machined unit and restore your brake performance. No more rear brake lock-ups!

Brake bias is adjustable, with range of 100 PSI-1200 PSI pressure (0 to 60%).

This is the only solution on the market that is directly compatible with Toyota brake lines without the need to cut, flare the lines, add adapter lines or fittings. Other valves on the market with metric ports are bubble flare, and do not fit Toyotas.

Who needs this part:

  1. If you have a 9/75 - 7/80 U.S. spec Land Cruiser FJ40 with front disc / rear drum brakes, chances are you need this part. By now virtually all of the original units we've seen have severe internal corrosion. Many owners will not realize their brake performance is compromised until they encounter a hard stop situation.
  2. If you have a pre-9/75 FJ40 with full drum brakes, and you are doing a disc brake conversion, then you need to add a proportioning valve to avoid rear brake lock-up.
  3. If you own other types of Toyota with a similar proportioning valve configuration (one inlet port and one outlet port), you can use it to replace your leaking or corroded OEM part. In many applications, the OEM part is no longer available or very expensive.
  4. If you are customizing a Toyota for racing, then you already know you need this part!
